Hello Lovelies,

So, normally I don't really play around with photo manipulation, but I decided to give it a try for a few pictures. Just a phase really as I don't want to rely on it too heavily. It is fun, though. Currently I am messing around with Aviary, flickr's built-in editing tool. There are so many options, and for someone like me who normally uses outdated photoshop it can add some neat effects to your works!

In Motion

Hello Lovelies,

Today I had some free time to myself and decided to make some poses of my own instead of going out to buy them from the MP or in stores. Don't get me wrong, as a photographer I rely heavily on poses other people made, but it's also fun to make your own especially if you have something particular in mind and can't seem to find it. 

To make my poses I use DAZ Studios. It's fairly simple to learn and I highly recommend it. Even if it is to just play around with or just for personal use. It can become quite invaluable as you can wow your potential clients or followers with unique poses!

Today I had the chance to photograph the fiery redhead, Raye! It has been a long time coming as we had talked about doing it in the past and today both of us were able to line up and get them done!

I must say, I am overall very thrilled with how these turnt out! They were quite fun for me to take, and I made it my goal to try and continue my current theme of trying to capture some sort of hidden emotion.

I'm back with another fashion blog item! This is the lovely dress by my very talented and awesome friend Lilyanna, the owner of Cara's Closet! The dress will be a part of the #InLove [Hashtag In Love] event which opens up on the 15th of February.

Hello Lovelies,

So, I wanted to start off by saying that not every post in this blog will be for fashion. Sure, the majority probably will be, but not all of them. In fact, some of these may simply be photos I've taken just for fun, for clients, or just blog posts about the world in general. 

I will talk about politics at times and encourage you to do the same as I will always welcome thoughtful talk on the topic as long as you are doing just that. Talking it out. I believe fully that is the key to growth, and if you cannot talk about differences, try to come to common ground, or even try to understand that the world is not just black and white then you are part of the problem of today's society. 

There are too many people who simply want to tell you what to believe in, tell you that every little thing is oppressive, or that the current generation is ignorant and too soft. And it's something that both sides of the field are guilty of doing. 

While I identify as a feminist, I do not identify as a mainstream feminist. I prefer to think of myself as more of a factual feminist. I understand that sexism, racism, and bigotry is present in everyday life. And I will do everything I can to stop such things if I see them happening, but I also know that both men and women are oppressed. Not in the same ways, but they are.

That being said, I will never force someone to believe in what I believe in. I will not give into mainstream media and believe things blindly without looking into it first. I do my best to research what I look into, I do my best to find the facts of things before making assumptions, and I know I'm not perfect. I get things wrong. I will admit that if someone brings that to my attention.

I urge everyone to be wary of the media and just double check your information. Don't just blindly believe what you hear/are told. And most important of all, stand up for what is right, for what you believe in, but do it in a way that would make people proud. You don't need to be violent to make a difference, you don't need to give into the anger and hate.

In the Dark of the Night

Hello Lovelies,

Today I decided to revisit some of the landmarks in my inventory and wound up at Everwinter. It is a postapocalyptic sim made by the lovely Lauren Bentham. I have been to several of her sims and all of them are absolutely gorgeous. 

As you can see the details she put into making this sim are absolutely astounding. It truly captures the desolate and ravaged feel I would expect to find in such a place. Honestly, go take a look at it if you get a chance!

Custom made Poses

» If you would like a special pose made please provide us with a photo, link to a photo or a detailed request on a notecard.

» Poses take 1-2 weeks to make (we are both very busy RL).

» Cost: 250$L per pose, 350$L with mirror. Add 500$L for full perm options.

Photography services

» Please drop a notecard in the box at the store with your name (legacy name only please), times you are available and what service and photographer you would like.

» Profile Shoot:  500$L

Half hour to full hour, one outfit, up to 5 poses, one finished photo.

» Full Shoot: 1500$L and up

One to three hours, outfit changes as time allows, poses as time allows. Includes 5 finished photos. Extra time: 250$L per half hour, 200$L per extra photo.

» All photos uploaded to Flickr with watermarks for viewing before selection.
